July 2023 God moved us to the country of Estonia, which borders Russia and is a member of the European Union. We are working in the border city of Narva, Estonia, which has an estimated population of 60,000, 95% of whom are native Russian speakers. We were able to establish residency within our first 90 days of being in country. Working in the European Union gives us freedom to share the Gospel and plant a church openly, without threat of government interference. We are working toward starting a church by reaching the unchurched people in the city. We intend to do this through several different ministries, such as teens clubs, ministries to young single mothers, young families, summer camps and home Bible studies as well as other avenues. The city is strategically located as many who live there can legally go back and forth across the Russian border. Our desire is to fulfill the great commission by winning and discipling the Russian speaking people in Narva.
