A new beacon of faith is set to shine in Huber Heights, Ohio, as BCMN Church Planter Braydon Teach prepares to establish a new congregation in the area.

A Vision Taking Root

September 2025 will mark an exciting new chapter for the Greater Dayton area as Braydon Teach launches his church plant in Huber Heights. For those interested in being part of this spiritual journey from the beginning, he plans to host interest meetings in early 2025, creating opportunities for community members to learn more about the vision and mission of this new congregation.

A Journey of Faith

Braydon’s own spiritual journey is deeply rooted in local ministry. He was saved at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Xenia, Ohio, in 2012 under the leadership of Pastor Josh Bevan. The following year, he took the significant step of surrendering his life to the Lord. His commitment to ministry became formal in 2016 when he joined the staff of Lighthouse Baptist Church, where he has served faithfully for several years.

Mission and Strategy

The Teach’s mission statement is clear and powerful: “To Know Christ and Make Him Known.” This foundational principle shapes his three core commitments:

  • Glorifying God supremely in all endeavors
  • Loving people sincerely where they are
  • Carrying out the Great Commission with passion

To accomplish this mission, Braydon has developed a three-pronged strategy:

  1. Evangelize – Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost community that desperately needs to hear the good news of Christ.
  2. Edify – Building up believers through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, discipleship, and faithful service to the Lord.
  3. Extend – Reaching further into the Greater Dayton area and unreached parts of the world. The church aims to be a sending and multiplication work, with goals to send out missionaries and plant new churches, thereby multiplying their ministry’s reach globally.

A Family Called to Serve

This journey isn’t Braydon’s alone. His wife Brianna and their two children, Aubrey and Brett, are fully committed to this new chapter of ministry. Together, they seek the prayers and support of fellow believers as they prepare to launch this new church in Huber Heights.
