BCMN’s endorsement is for missionaries and church planters. Recently Rayce Johnson was endorsed as a BCMN Church Planter.
Rayce is in the process of planting a church in Georgetown, Kentucky. His launch date is January of 2024. The name of the church will be The Mount Baptist Church.
Rayce was saved as a result of Pastor Ted House knocking on his door and inviting his family to church. When Rayce attended Bible Baptist Church in Mt. Orab, the Youth Leader invited him and his sisters to summer camp. At camp Rayce was saved. After attending church for two years, he quit church and focused on college. During his first year of college, he became very depressed. As he sat on his bed planning to take his life, he saw a Bible he did not know he had. As he began reading it, the verses he read brought him to his knees, and he surrendered his life to the Lord.

Rayce was on the staff of Bible Baptist Church, Mt. Orab, from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, he moved to Faithway Baptist Church where Kevin Bell is the pastor. At Faithway Baptist Church, he met and married Rachel. Rayce is currently the Youth Pastor there.

Rayce plans to build the church by knocking on doors, leading people to Christ and inviting them to church. He has a few families going with him to help with the church plant. He will start the church in a home and move to a building in town when the church grows. He already has a few locations picked out.
