An Exciting Leadership Opportunity: Outreach Director

We’re searching for a dynamic, passionate individual to join our ministry team as Outreach Director. This role represents a tremendous opportunity to shape how our church connects with and serves our community while helping people discover the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

What You’ll Do

As Outreach Director at Florence Baptist Temple, you’ll be entrusted with:

  • Overseeing, planning, and implementing a comprehensive Outreach Ministry throughout the year
  • Providing leadership for our Children’s Ministry
  • Identifying, recruiting, and training volunteers who share your passion for outreach
  • Cultivating outreach initiatives that align with our Pastor’s vision and FBT’s unique culture
  • Developing and administering a ministry budget
  • Contributing to other ministries as needed

Who You Are

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Has previous vocational ministry experience in a church setting
  • Lives out the qualities of leadership described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7
  • Can gain and hold the trust of our church family
  • Maintains professional commitment to office hours, staff appointments, and worship times
  • Thrives as a team player
  • Is willing to affirm our statement of faith and become a church member
