I read years ago that something needs to possess two qualities to get involvement from people. It must be desirable and reachable. To that end, we have tried to put together a conference that everyone believes is personally beneficial. We also keep the cost low, so everyone can afford to attend.
The point of this article was not in any way to boast about what has taken place in Ohio. We are constantly aware that Jesus said, “Apart from me, ye can do nothing.” Our only desire for writing this article is to encourage other pastors from other states or even other countries: if God could do a work like this in rural Ohio, He could do the same where you are. We prayed for the Lord to send laborers into His harvest. He answered by calling many men in our own churches into the ministry. This conference is our best effort to be faithful in training those whom He has called.
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” – Jer. 33:3
