We are the Moore family (Rob and Melissa, Hannah and Rebekah), being sent out of Bible Baptist Church in Mount Orab, Ohio as church planters to Georgetown, Ohio.  We plan to begin services in the spring of 2026.  It is our desire to reach the southern part of Brown County, Ohio for the gospel.  The northern part of the county has a rich spiritual heritage, with our sending church (Bible Baptist Church) being a gospel light in that part of the county for over 60 years.  It is our desire that we would see Ambassador Baptist Church be that lighthouse for the southern part of the county.  Our plan is threefold:

  1. Love.  We must show Christian love, and I know no better way to do it than to share what Christ did on the cross for all the world.  We plan to tell the gospel to everyone in the region as effectively and as often as we possibly can.
  2. Labor.  We know that the gospel ministry is not for lazy people.  It is hard work.  Charles Spurgeon said, “Lazy people always find fault with their tools, and those who do not intend to work always find some excuse.”  I have the perfect tool (the Bible), and am left without excuse.  We must work to bring the gospel to the people of southern Brown County, and Georgetown, Ohio.
  3. Longevity.  Ministry is a long-term investment.  While salvation is instantaneous, and baptism is a one-time event, discipleship is a life’s endeavor.  We intend to pour our lives into the people of Georgetown and the southern part of Brown County, Ohio.
