Missionary to Missionary Care exists to come alongside missionaries, ministry leaders, and their families through the pressures, wounds, transitions, and challenges of cross-cultural ministry. What began as an effort to help battered and bruised missionaries has grown into a ministry of encouragement, coaching, debriefing, trauma care, reentry support, leadership development, and practical help for those serving around the world.

Much of that ministry happens one conversation at a time. It means sitting with missionaries who are tired, hurting, discouraged, or simply need someone who understands the missionary journey. At other times, it involves teaching, leading retreats, helping workers process difficult experiences, and equipping them to continue serving with wisdom and endurance. Through Missionary to Missionary Care and Shepherd’s Missionary House, located on Lake Granbury in Granbury, Texas, hundreds of missionaries and ministry leaders have found a place to take a deep breath, tell their story, work through life’s difficult seasons, and find the encouragement to keep moving forward.

The heart of our ministry has never changed: A Burden Shared Is Often a Burden Carried. Our desire is to walk alongside missionaries and national leaders through every season of ministry, helping them face life’s challenges with biblical wisdom, renewed hope, and a clearer view of Christ.
